Pupil Wellbeing
Pupil Wellbeing at St Mark’s
At St Mark’s we have a carefully planned approach to supporting our children’s well being. We develop strong relationships based on mutual respect, teaching our children about tolerance and empathy. Through our PSHE curriculum, children develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to become healthy, confident, independent and resilient citizens. Clear routines, and expectations ensure that children understand their rights and responsibilities in school and beyond. We have a trained mental health first aider who champions positive mental health for both staff and pupils, ensuring that well being is planned for, with opportunities for self expression through art, drama and music are available. We are part of the Ealing Schools Counselling Partnership and our staff, children and parents have access to a counsellor and art therapist at school. Lunchtime wellbeing sessions are also available to children who need support.
Our counsellor is Araminta De Clermont and she is on site each week on Wednesday. She can be contacted on 07368-365723 or emailed at araminta@schoolscounsellingpartnership.co.uk
You can call and leave a message or email at anytime and she will respond when she is on site on Wednesday.
