Year 1

Our classes are named after famous amazing mathematicians: Turing and Johnson.

We will be doing lots of interesting learning this year. Here are just some of the things that we will be doing:

Learning about the Human body and the five senses
Dive into the past to learn about events that occurred during the Great Fire of London in 1666
Exploring the seven continents and five oceans
Designing bridges in Design and Technology
Learning about friendships in PSHE

We will also be reading a range of exciting books and poems which will inspire our writing and encourage us to read for pleasure.
