Although originally built in the late 18th Century, St Mark’s Primary School has been expanded over the years to cater for the growing number of pupils on our roll.
Whilst parts of the school retain their original character, there have been three major modern extensions over the years – including new Key Stage 1 & 2 blocks and more recently a spacious new hall with three new state of the art classrooms. As part of this build we have gained a new catering kitchen, as well as a children’s kitchen to enhance the curriculum and new teaching spaces.
At St Mark’s we benefit from a newly revamped library and Computing suite. Outside we are lucky to have excellent facilities including a large field, outdoor classroom, garden, wildlife area and an all-weather hard court.
Welly sheds mean that the children get the benefit of the large field and outdoor classroom all year round.
